4th of July, Bend, OR

Well, we celebrated the 4th of July in Bend, Oregon, with Charlotte and Mike Majerczyk, Charlotte's mom Patei (intentionally spelled e-before-i to spite a 2nd grade teacher -- awesome!), Charlotte's brother Ben and Charlotte's friend Becca.

The event of the day was the "pet parade", which really just seemed to be a "town parade"... thousands of people and animals!

I don't know if you can see the detail, but this poor sucker has the stars and stripes, not only dyed on his fur, but also shaved into it!

Last but not least, this flying doggy!

Here's some other random shots of the rest of the fourth including some frisbee with Kora, a walk around the open space behind Patei's house, some s'mores with "camping sized" marshmellows, which is a horrendous idea and some cocktails on the patio.

We know we're behind quite a bit on posting, but it has been really hard to find both reliable internet and reliable power for all the media accoutrements at the same space. Stay patient and will get stories and photos posted ASAP!
